Tourmalinated Quartz

Tourmalinated Quartz is a clear to opaque form of crystal quartz with silvery filaments and threads embedded in the stone. These threads or needles are inclusions of dark green or black tourmaline, also known as schorl. Black tourmaline inclusions are the most common, and green tourmaline inclusions give Tourmalinated quartz jewellery an unmistakable and attractive green cast. The combination of deep black (or dark green) needles within translucent to opaque quartz is unique to every stone. No two are alike.
