Rhodonite

The Rhodonite gemstone is found in deposits mainly in Australia, Brazil, British Columbia, India, Japan, Madagascar, Mexico, New Zealand and the United States, especially in the states of Alaska, California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina and Washington State. Sometimes called the ‘the singer's stone’, Rhodonite jewellery is said to improve sound sensitivity. Many also believe it helps with the nervous system, improving self-esteem and to balance trauma. It has long been considered a strong feminine stone, as it is seen as a velvet glove over an iron fist. Natural healers associate Rhodonite with the throat chakra (fifth), to help achieve potential and dispel worry and Rhodonite is also associated with the astrological sign of Taurus (21 Apr - 20 May)
