Rhodochrosite
Rhodochrosite (the name means rose-colored) is commonly found in the form of stalactites and stalagmites in the caves of Argentina, Peru, Colorado and Montana. It often forms pink and white bands caused by manganese dissolved by ground water and dripping off the ceiling of caves and crevices deep underground. Rhodochrosite jewellery is believed to help in the development of inner freedom by helping to resolve inner conflicts and as a stone of love and balance. It is a powerful healer for the 4th chakra and used to cleanse the heart chakra. It’s also associated with the zodiac sign Libra (24 Sept - 23 Oct)
