Charoite
Charoite occurs only in the Chara River area of Siberia and is thought to have been named after the Russian word ‘Chary’, which means ‘charms’ or ‘magic.’ It is a rare and unusual mineral in the monoclinic crystal system. An opaque gemstone, Charoite has a wild and swirling pattern of interlocking crystals with colours, ranging from bright lavender, violet and lilac to dark purple, with white, grey and black veining. Charoite jewellery is known for its primal power. It is believed to be an all-round healer and works through the immune system. Wearing Charoite jewellery when you go to bed is said to release the fears that surface in dreams. The yoga guru claims this stone fosters a synthesis between the heart and the crown chakra. It helps to walk on spiritual path with awareness and manifests soul's wisdom and light in daily life
